Today many homeowners are faced with the difficulty of being faced with losing their home as the State of Florida as well as the rest of the country has been left in a “state” of shock as the real estate market as well as the economy are struggling to hold on.

Florida Real Estate Essentials is a Not-For-Profit organization established to protect the rights of Homeowners in the State of Florida.  We were founded under a guiding principal, to make a real difference.

We were created in 2007, due to the drastic and dramatic downturn in the economy, wherein, Florida unfortunately as well as quickly became one of the most distressed Real Estate markets in the entire country.  Due to property values dropping at record rates (just as they had risen to record rates from 2003-2006), combined with close to record high unemployment rates raising to over 10%, the state of Florida now had an overwhelming number of troubled properties.  Many of those properties and property owners were and are now faced with delinquent and deficient mortgages.  With limited financial resources the majority are unfortunately and ultimately on their way towards Foreclosure. 

For many homeowners in these situations, dealing with the banks and mortgage companies combined with an already heightened level of stress can be very difficult and much more stressful, as the majority of homeowners have little to no experience attempting to come to an agreement or “workout”.  

Florida Real Estate Essentials mission is to help 1,000 families over the next 12 months.  Many homeowners across the state are experiencing difficulty.  Under all of the stress, the majority of these homeowners are unaware that  a resource such as us exists at no cost to them.  Our organization provides guidance and information including many Real Estate related resources and referrals, all at no cost to the homeowner.  Some of these resources are Real Estate Attorneys, Mortgage Brokers, Real Estate Brokers and Agents, Investors, Buyers and additional Government programs and related information.

Our team is dedicated to making a real difference by providing Essential solutions to troubled Homeowners in need of assistance. We understand clearly that no 2 situations are alike.  That is why each Homeowners situation is analyzed on an individual basis by a Homeowner Advocate. We will create and tailor a course of action steps to assist you.

During Our initial meeting we will examine your specific situation and help you deine a goal. Once we understand your goal we will work with you to devise a plan and counsel you on how to best move forward.
